Should I use the Macro Template or the MyDiet Plan?
Macro tracking is recommended for those who are looking for body composition changes and a means to better fuel their workouts or day to day living. The MyDiet plan is a much more in depth meal plan created and monitored by a Registered Dietitian. This meal plan is highly recommended for anyone with dietary restrictions, food sensitives, or any other health conditions. Check out our Nutrition Services for detailed info on each option!
I don’t do CrossFit or Weightlifting, are these diet plans for me?
Absolutely! Everyone on this planet will benefit from a healthy diet, however, we 100% recommenced some kind of physical activity weekly, if not daily. We provide customized Personal Training Services for every lifestyle and are more than happy to come up with one that works for you!
I am completely new to nutrition coaching, what if I have questions along the way?
Both coaches are here for support 24/7, and we will walk you through each program upon signing up. There is no question too big or small, and we will make sure to assist in anyway possible. Starting a nutrition or fitness journey can be very intimidating (we’ve both been there) and our job is to make this as seamless as possible for you!
How do I track/log my food using the Macro Template?
We recommend using a food tracking app (we have found success with My Fitness Pal or MyMacros+) and then transferring the macro info over to your FFF excel log at the end of each day. We also suggest weighing all of your food when possible, as this will be the most accurate form of measurement.
Do I have to track/log my food with the MyDiet plan?
No, instead of tracking your food, you are already given a list and recipes for each meal. This plan takes the guess work out of dieting. You simply have to purchase the groceries from the list and assemble the meals provided!
How long does it take to see results with either option?
Everyone is different, however, the only way to get any results is with consistency. We give you the numbers and/or meal plans, but it is up to you to adhere to them. Give it a few weeks of diligently following your plan and the results will come!
What’s the difference between “eating clean” and tracking macros? And what are macros anyway?!
Eating clean can mean a variety of things depending on who you ask. We live by the Dolce Diet motto of eating “earth grown nutrients” and then put our own twist on it with assigning a caloric number. If you are not eating enough of these earth grown nutrients, or eating too many of one category, then your body may not be utilizing the calories at an optimal level. This is why tracking your fats, carbohydrates, and proteins (i.e. macro-nutrients) gives accelerated results over just “eating clean.”
